Personnel Update - Oct 2023

Summer Interns:
Thank you to all of you who helped make this year's summer recruiting effort a success.  From interviewing to teaching to mentoring, so many team members helped make this recruiting year a success.  A total of 8 quantitative traders and algorithmic interns have accepted our offer to return as full-time team members, a great return on everyone's contribution.

Company growth:
In addition to our intern program, our full-time recruiting has been robust as well. In 2023, we have welcomed 25 new full-time team members across all departments. This represents a ~20% increase in our overall headcount.

Fall Recruiting Events:
Fall is a high recruiting season, and you are likely to see posts on LinkedIn promoting these events. Please promote these events, or create your own, to your network, as 2nd-degree connections are a great source of talent (Resources Linked here). And as always, remember our referral program. Learning Budget Reminder
The end of October marks the halfway point of this year's learning budget. GO Tropical's generous continuing education program is a great way to continue your development in a multitude of ways. Consider partnering with a colleague on a course or conference in the months ahead and further developing your knowledge.
